Pathology Associates of Albuquerque, PA (PAA) is the largest and oldest pathology practice in the State of New Mexico, established in 1970. We provide pathology and laboratory services to clinicians and healthcare facilities in New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, and other states.
Physicians & Specialties
Our physicians are board certified in anatomic and/or clinical pathology, and most have completed fellowships and are board certified in subspecialty fields such as blood banking and transfusion medicine, surgical pathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, cytopathology, gynecologic pathology, gastrointestinal/hepatobiliary, and molecular pathology.

Experienced Expertise
PAA pathologists serve as medical directors for hospital laboratories located throughout New Mexico and for Tricore Reference Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, our pathologists are responsible for the scope, standards, and quality of service provided by these laboratories. In addition, PAA pathologists have faculty appointments at the University of New Mexico Medical School and are an integral part of the UNM Pathology and Dermatopathology Training programs.
