Pathologist Position
Pathology Associates of Albuquerque, P.A. is a private practice in New Mexico, processing approximately 65,000 surgical specimens per year. PAA is affiliated with Presbyterian Healthcare Services, TriCore Reference Laboratories, and the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.
We are seeking a fellowship trained pathologist. Fellowship training in surgical pathology and/or cytopathology is required. This is a full time position. Candidates must have completed a fellowship, possess or be eligible for a New Mexico Medical license, and be board certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. The ideal candidate must have a focus on diagnostic excellence performing at the highest standards of a major pathology practice. Candidates will primarily participate in case sign out, interact with physicians, residents, fellows, and participate in tumor board and breast conference meetings. Experience as medical director of laboratory.
Our group works with hospitals and laboratories with a rich, robust volume of caseloads and clinicians throughout New Mexico and surrounding states. Members of our group are also eligible for academic appointments at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Pathology Department.
